    Foot reflexology<\/span><\/div>[vc_column_text]Historically, its origins date back 5,000 years. The earliest information comes from Egyptian paintings, but it is also known to have been practiced in China and India. In 1930, Dr. Fitzgerald, an American physician, carried out a scientific study of the therapy known as “zonal therapy”, during which he discovered ten vertical and horizontal nerve bundles in the feet, corresponding to the body’s axes. It was then an American masseuse, Eunice Ingham, who, based on this study, discovered that we could have a great influence on the whole body through the feet; and she developed the foot reflex point massage. This type of massage increases blood circulation and relaxes the entire nervous system. Reflexology aims to treat the whole person, taking into account the causes of problems as well as energetic and emotional imbalances.
